Kololo Independence Grounds came alive over the weekend as thousands of motorsport enthusiasts, families and adventure seekers converged for the three-day NCBA Auto Show, an event that combined speed, entertainment and the latest automotive innovations.
The annual motoring festival drew crowds eager to watch professional drivers showcase their skills through drift exhibitions, gymkhana demonstrations and precision driving stunts. Roaring engines, screeching tyres and expertly executed manoeuvres kept spectators captivated throughout the weekend.
Away from the performance arena, visitors explored a wide range of vehicles, including luxury cars, rugged off-road machines and vintage classics. Many posed for photographs alongside the vehicles, while others took the opportunity to inspect the different models up close.
Leading motor dealers showcased their latest vehicle models, while automotive technology companies, insurance firms and financial institutions introduced visitors to new technologies and vehicle financing solutions.
One of the event's busiest attractions was the Tusker Lite Pitstop Lounge, where attendees relaxed between exhibitions while discussing vehicles, motorsport and road safety.
The lounge also served as a platform to promote responsible road use, with Tusker Lite reminding motorists of the importance of never mixing drinking and driving.
Speaking during the event, Tusker Lite Brand Manager Sandra Againe said the partnership with the NCBA Auto Show was aimed at creating memorable experiences while encouraging responsible choices.

As the final day drew to a close on Sunday evening, the focus shifted from motorsport to football as giant screens were set up for fans to watch the FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
Supporters of both teams filled the viewing area, replacing the roar of engines with songs, chants and tense anticipation as they followed every attack, save and near miss.
The screening provided a fitting conclusion to a weekend that blended motorsport, entertainment and football, leaving visitors with a memorable experience on and off the track.
Organisers said the event once again highlighted the growing popularity of motorsport in Uganda while providing automotive brands with an opportunity to engage directly with consumers.
